Fröschis (Froggies)

Fröschis (Froggies)

Who would have thought that frogs (or Fröschis) were so neat and tidy? The numbers in their pond (yes, really) have to be put into order and players need to help the frogs do so. At the beginning of the game there are eight face-down cards in front of each player (with one fewer in each subsequent round). On your turn, you will take one card from the face-down draw deck or from the discard pile – but only if you can play it: that means if that number is still missing from the row in front of you. If you’re successful, the game continues, until nothing matches anymore or if you draw a card with a piece of rubbish on it; the pond is no place for garbage. You might even be lucky enough to see one of the frogs turn up themselves, frog cards are jokers and can always be played. You’ll need a lot of luck to win this game but it will bring you a pleasing sense of order. So hop to it and play “Fröschis”.
