Bernhard Löhlein

Speaker of the jury Spiel des Jahres

Born in 1965, married with three adult children, lives in Ingolstadt. He is an editor in the media and public relations department of the Eichstätt diocese. One of his responsibilities is for radio programming, for which he produces contributions from church life or on social topics. Every week, he hosts the program “Der Sonntag Morgen” (“Sunday Morning”) on the special-interest radio station Radio K1. He also presents games on the radio: For more than 20 years, he has presented the “Spiel der Woche” (“Game of the Week”) every Saturday on Radio IN (for the greater Ingolstadt area). He also writes a weekly game review for the “Weißenburger Tagblatt” newspaprer.

Gaming is a great passion for him, at home with his family as well as at his games club Ali-Baba. He organises games events and loves to get people interested in board gaming.
