Welcome to Fabulantica, the land of fairytales, where Puss in Boots, sorcerers’ apprentices, witches and djinns will say hello. Players have come to this magical realm for a family reunion. Your mission: search for the characters depicted on the cards around the edge of the game board. To do this you’ll travel by land, by sea and – thanks to a flying carpet – even through the air, provided you have the correct travel card in hand for the type of landscape. Once you have reached a location, you can look in its tower to see which fairytale character is hidden there. But make sure you don’t forget, because this multi-faceted race game needs a good memory as well as some early tactical thinking.

The journey is the destination, and this journey is constantly changing. The designer Marco Teubner cleverly combines elements of memory games and race games into a completely new child-friendly experience, creating a fresh perspective on well-known mechanics and fairytale characters. “Fabulantica” is a fantastic and suspense-laden race that invites players to experience ever-changing adventures and voyages of discovery. It’s difficult not to be charmed by it.
