Four magical objects have been stolen from the school of magic and are now scattered throughout the kingdom. But who took them? As sorcerer’s apprentices, the children strive to unmask the thieving ghost. However, the ghost has its own agenda and is trying to collect the magical objects. But with every object he collects, he enables the students to gather new information about his identity. Is the thief yellow? A fairy? Or does he wear glasses? Using three dice, the characters move across the game board to complete their task as quickly as possible—the spirit wants to grab all the objects, while the children want to unmask him. Whoever succeeds first wins this asymmetrical race. The package is rounded out by game instructions that let the magical world come alive.
Jury statement:
The tasks of the two teams in “Verflixt verzaubert” are different, yet equally exciting. On the one hand, they require the children to bluff, use tactics, and show a bit of courage; on the other hand, they demand deduction and communication. This creates an exciting race at the gaming table.
