There’s more than you can see hidden under the floor of the magician’s kitchen. Magnetic stumbling blocks make life hard for the magician’s apprentices. They need to balance different ingredients on their heads and manoeuvre them into cauldrons of the same colour. Players are only allowed to push their figures across the game board using a small magic wand. Positioned in a different location each round, the blocks are there to make the apprentices stumble: the figure will fall forward and lose their ingredients. To avoid the danger spots on their next go, they’ll need a good eye and a good memory. The winner is the apprentice who can deliver all their ingredients and start a fire under the cauldron. A wonderfully constructed magnet game where you’ll need dexterity and finesse.

As soon as the three-dimensional game board is built, there’s a magical and inviting atmosphere. And when a figure stumbles – as if by magic – children are amazed, as only a peek under the board reveals the cause. Once again, the publisher Drei Magier Spiele have succeeded in combining the magic of magnets with dexterity and memory elements into an imaginative game for children.
