The nasty boss wants to take us down—but we’re sticking together, trying to gain the upper hand. In “Boss Fighters QR,” everyone has their own deck of cards, which they use to enter the fray as a troll, halfling, elf, or dwarf. The selected card is scanned via a QR code; the opponent then reacts in real time on the tablet or smartphone in the center of the table. Together, we try to figure out the weaknesses of the ten bosses and plan wisely. From level to level, we get better cards and new abilities, but also face greater challenges. The digital element enhances the gaming experience and handles game administration, making it easy to get started despite the demanding tasks.

Finding a common strategy as a group of heroes is a challenge that is as appealing as it is unifying. Individual strengths clash with surprising enemy abilities. The difficulty level can be adjusted to the group thanks to the intuitive app. Increasingly powerful bosses provide plenty of excitement.
