Two decks of cards\u2014two players. Two decisions per turn: the left or the right card? The front or the back? On each card, children find beautifully illustrated Mookies from one of five families. Will they choose the Plant Mookie, the Fossil Mookie, or perhaps the Sun Mookie? The chosen card goes to their own pile\u2014with the selected Mookie facing up. The game goes back and forth like this until one of the piles is empty. Whoever has collected the most creatures from a family receives that family\u2019s trophy. But be careful\u2014spiders lurk in the central display and can be played onto the opponent\u2019s pile. Whoever has the majority of these at the end loses a trophy. A fast-paced and well-rounded duel with just the right touch of strategy.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

With just a few rules, \u201cMookie Island\u201d creates an exciting duel at the gaming table that children can\u2019t get enough of. The gameplay is elegantly reduced to the essentials, yet it evolves tactically as the children grow.
