With mysterious artefacts and fantastic creatures, they must try and win control of coveted places of power before their opponents. The elementary essences are rare, however, and have to be used with care: should you use the philosophers\u2019 stone to produce gold? Or can a sea serpent help keep your adversaries in check? The game furnishes the players with a limited personal arsenal: in total each player receives just eight artefacts and creatures at the beginning.
