Born in 1989 and grew up in Gelsenkirchen. Trained as a chef in his first life. Switched to the social sector after completing his community service and worked as a curative educator in residential groups with mentally ill adults. Since 2016, he has been working in a municipal day care centre for children in Gelsenkirchen.<\/p>\n
He was introduced to gaming at an early age with “Slotter”, “Schokohexe” and “Der zerstreuten Pharao”. In his youth, he discovered his first love in the local board game shop: “Formula D\u00e9”.
\nThanks to Corona and the right woman at his side, he found his way back into gaming as a hobby, especially at work with the children, which gave him more confidence to try out new board games. Constantly researching new, interesting games and presenting them, including explaining the rules, to friends, family and work colleagues is the most exciting part. To keep up to date, he likes to visit the local game shop to exchange ideas with the owners and the community.<\/p>\n
After his second parental leave, he set up a games lending service in the kindergarten on his own initiative to give children in the family centre the opportunity to experience new games at the centre and at home. Regular games clubs and games events (Playing for Tolerance) provide new discoveries and experiences for young and old alike.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
