My City

My City

In “My City” players will be building cities and – as you can guess from the title – each will build their own. Everyone gets a personal landscape board and a supply of building tiles in different colours and shapes. A deck of cards determines the order in which the buildings can be placed. What players need to focus on and what you get points for will change from game to game. “My City” is actually a so-called legacy game, one that you continue playing over several sessions and which develops continuously. Over the course of a total of 24 individual games ever more goals and game elements are introduced. Players will use stickers to permanently change their own unique and individual game board.

24 individual games? It sounds like it would take forever to play through the “My City” campaign. But the reports are piling up: “We just couldn’t put it away, we were completely captivated by the game.” “My City” has achieved an impressive balancing act: despite constant change this tile-laying game never loses its core of accessible gameplay. Each new element is integrated organically into the game and the difficulty level rises gently, without overwhelming the players.
