Leo muss zum Friseur

Leo muss zum Friseur

When a noble lion’s mane begins to grow out of control, he goes to the barber – at least in this game. At exactly 8 o’clock in the morning Leo starts on his way to the barber’s shop. He’s got to hurry though, Bobo the chimp shuts his shop at 8 pm sharp. To successfully navigate Leo to the salon in these twelve hours the players have to decide which of their hand cards to play in order to reveal matching path tiles. Otherwise the lion will lose valuable hours chatting with other animals. Fortunately the players have five days to gradually increase their knowledge about the distribution of path tiles and to make use of this knowledge. A thrilling race and memory game where clever lion whisperers always need to keep an eye on the big picture to win together.

Jury statement
Failure is rarely as good as this. This game only reveals its full beauty in the second or third round – and how: that’s when memory and foresight are needed. And that’s when emotions are running high. There’s discussions, advice, laughter and grumbling when Leo once again loses time chatting. The lion’s namesake, designer Leo Colovini, has created something unique with this co-operative memory game. Well played, Leo!
